Hey guys,
How's it all going?
There's so much that's happened over the last few months. We've had gigs, wins, family losses, VCE scores, University entries, AA meetings (just kiddin, AA's for quitters :) ) and so much more, it's difficult to know where to begin.

Well, first things first, the websites fixed (as you can tell), the music player works, the blog is back up and so on and so forth. So that's a plus

Secondly,
Most of you will know we entered into the Hell In The Cell showcase, presented by MLG. Wasn't that a journey?

We won our heat. We had the honour of playing with bands such as Demonium and Catacombs of Cachtice.

Next was the Semi Final. We barely scraped through on .1 of a point...POINT 1 OF A POINT!!!...We got to see Driven to The Verge, a great bunch of guys, and were up against Isis of Balor yet again in the grand final.

THE GRAND FINAL!

There was so much depending on this. We really hammered down on the ticket sales, and this time, to make it harder, there were 2 judges =O!...OH NOEZ.....and as well as that, Midget had to deal with the passing of his grandfather =( (RIP Karl!)

Anyway, we were playing against only 2 bands this time, Demonium got through the final but unfortunately had to step down due to other commitments. So it was us, Isis of Balor, and Elysian, another band we were very very impressed by.

Isis's crowd reaction was yet again impeccable. Elysian were a little disadvantaged in that area due to recently moving down from NSW, and not having much of a fan base in Melbourne, but they will soon enough. They were amazing. Syth (sorry for any errors in spelling bro) pulled off an amazing bass solo, and the rest of the band played incredibly. They are gunna be big.

Anyway, we got on stage, did our thing, and it was awesome, you guys really stood up to the challenge, we're so thankful for the support.

AND WE WON!!!...We sold 211 tickets in total. and MLG are so very impressed. We've been in contact with them over the last couple of days and the words 'gig' and 'headlining' have been mentioned =O

The EP is on it's way...thanks to our friend Richard Millot, who is helping us with our marketing plan and the like, we should be under the wing of a distribution company soon enough.

So yeah, that's about it. Thanks to everyone who's supported us, and hopefully we'll get off our lazy arses and update all this more often.

Catchya around, stay posted

Welcome one and all!

Finally, the website has been updated. After months of agonizing tweaking and fiddling, it has been spun upside down, touch inappropriately and woken up, with a sore rear-end, and a shiny new coat of paint, all in time for the up and coming release of our first EP, Dogma of The Beast!

We're coming back with a new website, new myspace (soon), new photo's and brand-spankin'-new music that we all love!

We'd love to throw out a huge thanks to Sam from 3 Phase Studios who recorded and mixed the EP, he was absolutely phenomenal, and the EP wouldn't have sounded half as good if it wasn't for him. Also, a massive thanks to Howsie who produced the EP and really taught us how to get the best out of our music.

Shortly after we finished recording the EP, our now former drummer, Nick, unfortunately had to leave the band due to overwhelming work with his University work and so forth. Luckily, a good friend of the band, Dean Lewer, was waiting in the wing. After a get together at Pony Studios in Hallam, and listening to Dean having a smack on the kit, he was in. Nick was kind enough to stick around and show Dean the ropes and help him along with getting use to the material.

We are now roaring to get out and start gigging with the new line up. We're locked, loaded and can't wait to come out swinging in a 100% balls to the wall Metal show.

Thanks to you all for showing an interest in our music, and we hope to see you fuckers out there in 2010, keeping the metal alive.

Stay brutal!

So, when we said we were making it a big year, we didn't realise how big.

The EP is currently in pre-production. We've got a rough idea of the songs we're putting on it. The plan is to make it a 6 track barrage of pure, untainted, metal.

Recording is due to start mid April, and conclude early May. Mastering should be a little after we finish, so we're looking to release it to the public by June, hopefully.

Also, the newest member of the Bigamy family, Matt, is settling in amazingly. There were some concerns and nerves before his first gig with the band at DV8 on January 31st, but that was all washed away the second we got on stage.

And don't forget, our website, www.bigamymetal.com is up and running for you to have a look at. We'll be adding more to it soon, so stay tuned!

We're playing Off The Chain II in March, to add to the upcoming excitement for the band! If you're coming out, make sure you check us out, and try to remember to buy some merch! It's a long drive for us, so any shirts sold will help us out a heap.

I think that's just about it for news, so I just wanna give a couple of shoutouts to some people that have helped us out thus far!

A big thanks to Phil and the boys from Cell 16 for not only showing us OzRadio.com, but for getting us onto the Off The Chain II bill. Also, a HUGE thank you to Howsie and the rest of Hatchet Dawn, for the DV8 gig, and last, but definitely not least, an enormous thanks to RJ and the OzRadio team for all their help. Without you guys, we wouldn't be where we are right now.

And of course, how could I forget, thanks to everyone that listens to us, wears our shirts, talks about us, comes to see us, likes us, or even just knows us!
